This film is about the Rodin Museum and DuPont Gardens in Pennsylvania and to a lesser extend, about the buildings of Boston and the Boston Ballet. How beautiful are the works of August Rodin – it has been over three centuries and we still are astonished by them. How beautiful is the human body in serenity and in wrath, in pain and in happiness, in connections with others and in solitude… Having this museum, America is immersed in the masterpieces of the world culture, admiring and protecting them. The DuPont Gardens also reflect 100 years of history and every day people still visit them…. And this is also a summer in America . There is also a fleeting intimation of the enemies of culture and humanity… The film is opening with the concerto for piano and orchestra by one of the best composers of the last century: Alfred Schnittke.
